  Data Analyst, Sr.

  PRIMARY PURPOSE :

  To collect, import, analyze, maintain, update and report data; to be responsible for the data integrity; and to generate reports verifying and ensuring data integrity and accuracy.

  ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES

  Process & manage client opportunity PPO disruption reports for all books of business

  Monthly generate, review, and distribute client reporting (TAT, Recons, Performance)

  Monthly generate and upload client PPO and certified referral data

  Evaluate new affiliate to determine value for adding to our network

  Annually evaluate PPO mosaic and priority

  Compiles data; prepares and distributes reports; and analyzes results.

  Prepares, imports, manipulates, matches, and updates data utilizing Microsoft Access & SQL databases.

  Ensures data integrity

  ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES

  Performs other duties as assigned.

  Supports the organization's quality program(s).

  QUALIFICATIONS

  Education & Licensing

  Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.

  Experience

  Five (5) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Two (2) years of query and report writing experience required.

  Skills & Knowledge

  Strong knowledge of query and report writing

  Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills

  PC literate, including Microsoft Office products

  Competent with many data structures (ASCII text both fixed width and delimited, Excel, etc.)

  Analytical and interpretive skills

  Strong organizational skills

  Excellent interpersonal skills

  Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies

  Proficient project management skills

  WORK ENVIRONMENT

  Mental: Clear and conceptual thinking ability; excellent judgment, troubleshooting, problem solving, analysis, and discretion; ability to handle work-related stress; ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously; and ability to meet deadlines.

  Physical: Computer keyboarding, travel as required

  Auditory/Visual: Hearing, vision and talking

  NOTE: Credit security clearance, confirmed via a background credit check, is required for this position.

  As required by law, Sedgwick provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in jurisdictions requiring pay transparency in job postings. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and cost of specific location. For the jurisdiction noted in this job posting only, the range of starting pay for this role is $63,000 - $75,000 . A comprehensive benefits package is offered including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, 401k and matching, PTO, disability and life insurance, employee assistance, flexible spending or health savings account, and other additional voluntary benefits.
