Cybersecurity Engineering Senior ManagerThe Cybersecurity Engineering Senior Manager is a key management role in the continued innovation of Comerica's Cybersecurity strategy and will develop and lead a best-in-class Security infrastructure. This role is responsible for leading a premier Engineering team that develops, operates, and supports a cutting-edge Security infrastructure for Comerica. The Senior Manager will build and lead the Cybersecurity Engineering program and lead a team of high performing cyber security Engineers.The Sr. Manager of Security Engineering will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of security log engineering, endpoint security, and network security engineering. In addition, they must be able to successfully partner with Comerica Technology and business resources to deliver consistent security services. This position will be responsible for ensuring the security of our organization's data, systems, and networks.Position Responsibilities:StrategyPartner with corporate functional leaders and execute a technology strategy that will enhance overall business capabilities.Stay abreast of technology industry trends and best practices.Continuously transform the organization to increase efficiencies and reduce overall expense.Partner with innovation team to test and learn emerging technology and its viable applicability to enhance corporate business capabilities.Develop and execute cyber security engineering strategies around network, cloud, endpoint, and other engineering areas.Develop Security Engineering vision, strategy, and a roadmap, and lead the team and its business partners in effective execution.Proactively advise the Senior Management team on the emerging technologies and security trends that are most relevant to the company's goals and evolving needs.Delivery Planning and ExecutionCreate, prioritize, plan, and execute portfolio/product roadmaps through collaboration with Product Management and DevOps, including the on-going resequencing of projects in the portfolio roadmap as priorities shift.Complete 90% of projects within 5-10% of approved funding and 1 month of baselined completion date. Reduce time to market by utilizing Agile methodologies.Provides insights on risks based on broad experience.Develops project risk profile, mitigation plan and contingency plan.Establish and maintain key performance indicators to monitor and continuously improve the operational health of Security Engineering programs.Establish and curate key metrics for managing Security Engineering effectiveness and impact including availability and reliability of all key systems.Maintain oversight of all Security projects, ensuring that commitments are properly planned, staffed, monitored, and delivered.Review, recommend, and oversee all vendors and managed service agreements for Security Engineering services.Technology/Operational/ Risk ControlLead integration and synergy between architecture/technology planning and development initiatives, providing direction and decisions in application development to support platforms.Cultivate good system management disciplines including clearly defined and documented roles and responsibilities, documented phase processes and checkpoint and detailed planning for system deployment.Ensures compliance and control activities support technology and enterprise business objectives and are aligned with executive risk tolerances and expectations.Ensures processes and controls within assigned area to enhance performance, security, reliability, and availability of systems.Drive a continuous improvement and compliant culture through documented policies, procedures, and architecture.LeadershipLeads large size technical project teams or programs that span the enterprise.Manage the financials of the assigned area with attent
