　　Join our dynamic team working on the cutting edge of cybersecurity as a Mid-level Cybersecurity Engineer/Information System Security Officer (ISSO) in support of the Defense Information Systems Agency's (DISA) initiative to modernize the Joint Force Headquarters - Department of Defense Information Network (JFHQ DoDIN) security model through Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA). In this role, you will play a crucial part in implementing new security technologies, ensuring the protection of key mission systems and countering adversarial compromises.

　　ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

　　Act as an ISSO to provide comprehensive cybersecurity support for the adoption of ZTA within the DoDIN.

　　Implement and manage security controls to safeguard information systems, ensuring compliance with DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), DISA Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVA), and Risk Management Framework (RMF) standards.

　　Collaborate with internal/external organizations, contributing to requirements and technical analysis.

　　Develop, maintain, and execute detailed project plans to track progress, ensuring on-time and within-scope delivery of data calls aligned with the DISA ZTA Strategy.

　　Conduct technical evaluations, coordinate relationships with third parties/vendors, and contribute to ZTA project documentation.

　　Provide technical support across all control layers, particularly in the areas of Program Management, Lab Development and Sustainment, and Software Development and Sustainment.

　　SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

　　In-depth understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices, with specific experience in the implementation of security controls and ZTA solutions.

　　Familiarity with DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), IAVA processes, and RMF standards.

　　Proficiency in coordinating technical meetings, conducting technical evaluations, and maintaining detailed project plans.

　　Strong knowledge of security architecture, risk management, and compliance.

　　Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with stakeholders.

　　EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & CERTIFICATIONS:

　　Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.

　　Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably in roles involving ISSO responsibilities.

　　Industry certifications such as CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or other relevant certifications are highly desirable.

　　Experience with ZTA or similar modern security architectures is a plus.
