  Job Description

  HII Mission Technologies is seeking a Cyber Policy Advisor to join our C5ISR Business Group in support of a DoD mission at Fort Meade, MD. The successful candidate will provide legal advice on cyber policy issues, research and review laws related to risk management policy, and analyze and provide recommendations on current and future cyber policy and law. The Cyber Policy Advisor will also be responsible for maintaining appropriate records to adhere to compliancy regulations and operating in a Joint and/or DoD unique environment. This position supports multiple mission partners and requires occasional travel within the continental US and OCONUS locations.

  Essential Job Responsibilities

  Provide legal advice on cyber policy issues in support of the DOD customer.

  Research and review laws related to risk management policy.

  Analyze and provide recommendations on current and future cyber policy and law with respect to ongoing operations.

  Provide legal advice on the writing of future policy.

  Provide recommendations on future policy based on current and future operations.

  Maintain appropriate records to adhere to compliancy regulations.

  Operate in a Joint and/or DoD unique environment.

  Maintain and comply with security procedures in the performance of duties.

  Familiarity with current DoD policies regarding Risk Management is required.

  Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft applications.

  Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

  Support multiple mission partners and travel within the continental US and OCONUS locations as required.

  US citizenship required and MUST possess a current TS security clearance with SCI eligibility.

  Telework is authorized with occasional travel to Fort Meade, MD.

  Minimum Qualifications

  15 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 13 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 10 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 19 years relevant experience.

  Knowledge in US Intellectual Property Law.

  Knowledge of Intellectual property in industrial base programs.

  Experience with Intellectual property and Internet-based businesses.

  5+ years of experience in providing legal advice on cyber policy issues.

  Knowledge of laws related to risk management policy.

  Experience in analyzing and providing recommendations on current cyber policy and law.

  Experience in providing legal advice on the writing of future policy.

  Experience in maintaining appropriate records to adhere to compliancy regulations.

  Experience operating in a Joint and/or DoD unique environment.

  Active TS/SCI security clearance.

  Preferred Requirements

  Post Graduate education in Intellectual Property Law, Cybersecurity, or related field.

  10+ years of experience in providing legal advice on cyber policy issues.

  Experience supporting National, DoD, Component, or the Intelligence Community, including inter-agency.

  Experience within the Intelligence Community, CCMDs (J2X/3X), CI/HUMINT/SOF.

  Maintain knowledge of established Risk Management plans.

  Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

  Active TS/SCI security clearance.

  Physical Requirements

  Will require working in an Office or Home Office Environment.
