Responsibilities
This Cyber Law Enforcement Investigations & Operations Advisor supports the Noblis Air Force client performing an Intelligence and Law Enforcement mission.
Job Description:
As a Cyber Law Enforcement Investigations and Operations Advisor, you will play a crucial role in providing expert guidance and support to cyber investigations and operations with a focus on, counterintelligence activities in cyberspace, digital forensics, and high-tech crimes.
Key responsibilities include:
Build Cyber Triage Desk program to include developing a framework for investigative and operational referrals to cyber specialists
Review cyber activities for technical and regulatory sufficiency and make recommendation to legal team, technical specialists, and threat analysts for action
Offer initial triage insight into legal aspects related cyber investigations and operations
Review investigative activities and provide recommendations on compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and privacy considerations
Provide specialized technical expertise and advisement on in cyber investigations and operations, specific to digital collection, forensics methodologies, and cyber tools with an emphasis on industry best practices
Analyze and interpret technical data related to advanced persistent threats, high-tech crimes, and digital forensics and direct members to technical leads for case support or follow on activities
Stay abreast of the latest developments in new and emerging cyber-criminal capabilities such as zero-day exploits, ransomware, and dark web tools
Act as a key liaison between field investigators, cyber specialist, and partner law enforcement agencies fostering collaboration and information sharing
Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external partners involved in cyber investigations and operations.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of investigative capabilities in response to emerging cyber investigations and operations.
Required Qualifications
Top Secret/SCI clearance or Secret with TS/SCI Eligibility
Master's degree from an accredited college/university
10+ years experience in cybersecurity or related technical field
Graduate of an industry accepted cyber digital forensics course
Graduate of an industry accepted cyber pen testing or red team course
Graduate of an industry accepted law enforcement and/or counterintelligence academy
Strong inter-personal skills and an ability to interact with all levels of customer and mission partners
Desired Qualifications
DoD cyber program management experience involving both offensive and defensive cyber capabilities
Experience leading technical cyber teams involving computer network exploitation or digital forensics technology
Knowledge or expertise in Cyberspace Policy and Doctrine at the DOD and Interagency levels
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
Flexibility to adapt to changing situations
Some travel required
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Position requires an onsite presence

Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package for employees.

USD $138,000.00 - USD $241,500.00 /Yr.
