　　Join our Scripps cardiovascular operating room team as a Surgical Tech where you will

　　· ensure OR rooms are ready for surgery, including all case-specific supplies and equipment are sterile and ready for use.

　　· monitor the sterile field throughout procedure as well as scrub for cases and anticipate the needs of the physician and operating team.

　　· take initiative to utilize appropriate support services to resolve issues, position and transport patients as necessary.

　　· organize room cleanup and ensure efficient room turnover, including decontaminating equipment as necessary.

　　This is a full time 12-hour varied shift position with call.

　　Required Qualifications: * 1 year of recent experience as a CVOR Surgical Technologist or completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist training program. * Current BLS from the American Heart Association * Excellent communication skills. Basic computer skills. Able to multi-task and work well in a team environment. Detail oriented and able work well in a fast-paced, high stress environment.
