Description
A drain cleaning company is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join their team. This will be a contract to hire position, full-time Monday - Friday with a unique schedule. The hours will be 11am - 8pm as you will be working the "closing" shift, however there will be some days that you could work the earlier shift.
The Customer Service Representative will interview customers and record interview information into the computer for customer service by performing the following duties.
DUTIES:
Manage heavy volume of incoming service calls
Talk with customers by phone and create service calls
Create new service site records for new customers
Separate invoices and prepare invoices for mailing
File company copy of invoice
Prepare and sort work orders and identify and interpret data to be entered
Review work orders for accuracy and ensure charges are accurate
Enter alphabetic, numeric, or symbolic data from source documents into computer following format displayed on screen.
Receives complaints and/or concerns regarding billing and/ or service rendered, referring complaints of service failures to designated departments for investigation
Process returned mail
Follow - ups with customers to obtain the correct mailing address
Book workorders sent via email and online

EDUCATION:
1 year certificate from college or technical school
2 - 5 years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Requirements - 2+ years' experience of demonstrated performance in a goal-driven & customer-focused environment preferred
Proficient with computers and technology platforms
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Comfort in pursuing resolutions to complicated customer inquiries using complex research methods
Experience with Microsoft Office required
Customer service and office administrative skills
Comfort and confidence when interacting with internal and external partners and clients/customers
Upbeat, positive attitude and an approach to work rooted in professionalism
Proven knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, e.g. ACT!, Illustrator, Highrise, and InsightlyActive problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity
Foundational knowledge in High Volume Call Center
Comprehensive knowledge of Call Center Customer Service
