　　This position is a weekend position and includes weekend commitment pay of 25% of employees base rate on Saturdays and Sundays. This position will require 12 hours on Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays (7:00am-7:00pm) .

　　MAIN FUNCTION:

　　Under general supervision of the Radiologist, performs all procedures including routine Cat Scans, biopsies, colonoscopies, and angiograms. Reports to the Supervisor of CT.

　　DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

　　** 1. Performs all CT procedures.

　　Perform IV starts.

　　** 3. Prepares and positions patients for CT procedures, observing specific requirements

　　for each procedure while maintaining comfort and safety.** 4. Selects the best methods to provide the most adequate data acquisition for any

　　anatomical part.Prepares the opaque media for various examinations.

　　Performs sterile techniques procedures as needed.

　　Maintains appropriate appearance and hygiene in the work area.

　　** 8. Refrains from cell phone use while at work.

　　Is responsible for attending all annual mandatory educational programs as required by position.

　　Provides age appropriate care to neonate, infant, children, adolescent, adult and

　　geriatric patients.Employee understands and demon strates the importance of satisfying the needs of the customer/patient by interacting with him/her in a friendly and caring way, being attentive to the customer’s needs, both psychologically and physically, and by taking the initiative to maintain communication with the customer in order to provide a secure and pleasant experience with the Arnot Health.

　　EDUCATION:

　　Current NYS Radiologic Technologist License. ARRT Certification. IV Certification.

　　EXPERIENCE:

　　One year minimum experience as a Radiologic Technologist. Previous CT experience preferred.
