　　Principal Accountabilities:

　　Making proactive calls to predefined customers & ensure that customer debts are collected in line with contracted payment terms.

　　Matching payment terms to customer payment habits while maintaining standards for business segment and negotiating pay-out on delinquent accounts.

　　Investigating payment discrepancy reason if the customer fails to provide it in their remittance data.

　　Preparing customer refunds, write-offs, and account clearings in their area of responsibility (individual Debt Collection portfolio).

　　Responsible for the reversals of allocation in compliance with the set controls and policies and maintaining and foster good working relationships with Sales, the business and with relevant Finance Operations business partners.

　　Key Challenges:

　　This role will have an exposure to business leaders and third-party customers. This will require creating very good working relationships with the Credit Team, Order to Cash, Sales and other Finance Operations business partners.

　　The role will require to have the ability to discuss with customers over the telephone/email issues concerning non-payment of debts whilst still trying to maintain positive relationship wherever possible.

　　The ability to negotiate effectively while maximizing commercial opportunities and taking acceptable risks is required, together with strong, but firm interpersonal skills.

　　Job Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

　　Degree in Accounting or any related Finance/Business course would be an asset

　　Minimum 1-2 years of experience in finance/accounting and working knowledge of debits and credits. Previous experience in debt collection would be an asset

　　English and Turkish language proficiency

　　Good working knowledge of MS Office tools (Excel, Word) and MS Outlook

　　Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

　　Very good influencing/negotiation skills to discuss difficult topics/solutions

　　Decision making - ability to support the decision with factual evidence.

　　Experience in performing call outs and other collection efforts to third party customers
