　　Bechtel Energy has an opportunity for an experienced project controls professional to come on board as Craft Supervisor - Scaffolding for our Pluto Train 2 project working FIFO in Karratha, WA. This is a FIFO role working 3:1 roster.

　　About the Project:Pluto Train 2 is the expansion of a second LNG train at the existing Pluto LNG onshore facility near Karratha in Western Australia run by Woodside Energy. Woodside Energy is Australia's leading natural gas producer, and Bechtel is excited to be working with this key customer to help meet the increasing global demand for LNG as a transitional energy source.

　　About the Role:In your role as Craft Supervisor Scaffolding, you will receive direction from, and communicate daily with the Scaffold Superintendent, responsible for field construction operations within assigned discipline or area.

　　You will determine workforce requirements, coordinate established area operational plans, and monitor work activities and ensure the quality of work performed.

　　Your responsibilities will include:

　　Approve craft professional time records using established automated tools.

　　Prepare reports and forecasts, including summary of construction progress, staffing forecasts, and expenditures forecast.

　　Monitor tool usage on the site, preparing Field Material Requisitions for tools and consumables and ensures that the crafts have the tools they require to be productive.

　　Responsible for the implementation of commercial/project policies, procedures and instructions within assigned operations.

　　Ensure that Bechtel and local/national safety codes, requirements and standards are being complied with within assigned area of responsibility. Ensure the Zero Accident Philosophy is incorporated into every aspect of construction operations. Actively participates in scheduled safety meetings.

　　What You Bring:A recognized degree in an engineering or scientific discipline, or specialized courses in construction technology and management, and/or prior practical work experience.

　　Knowledge of a single or multi-discipline construction or engineering operation.

　　Prior experience on construction projects with knowledge of supervisory functions relating to field activities.

　　Strong analytical and judicious planning: able to prioritize and balance short-term and long-term priorities.

　　Knowledge of the use of subcontracts, and the contractor and subcontractor’s responsibilities contained in subcontract documents.

　　Experience working with, supervising and administering subcontractors and/or Direct Hire workforce.

　　Working Rights in Australia without employer sponsorship are required.

　　Additional Information:

　　This position has responsibilities that include exposure to changing environmental, construction, and operational conditions, which may include: extensive walking in and around an active construction and/or operations site, climbing ladders, working at heights from work platforms including scaffolding, and mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs), use of personal fall arrest equipment, walking and working on uneven surfaces, working in constricted and/or confined spaces, variable work shifts (e.g., day, night, weekends, 1st, 2nd, 3rd shift, etc.), and work in inclement weather. Some lifting may be required. Candidate must be able to use standard issued Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required for each assigned task (i.e. respirator, harness, life vest, hearing protection, etc.).

　　The Pluto Train 2 Project is a Major Hazard Facility meaning this is a non-smoking site and no tobacco products i.e. cigarettes, vapes, lighters, tobacco - are permitted to be brought to the site.
