  DESCRIPTION OF WORKThis job includes the provision and monitoring of services to families to assist them in meeting their health, safety and well-being needs of their children, placement services for children and services to reunify the children with family or to find permanence in a timely manner.  Workers have the opportunity to receive on the job training as well as training from the Child Welfare Resource Center.  This agency also conducts assessments made to Childline or our agency in regarding to safety and well-being of children in Fulton County.  Workers had opportunity to coordinate and team with other community resources to assist families in living their best life.

  Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  Full-time employment.Work hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.On call rotation is required.You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.  REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  Six months of experience as a County Caseworker 1; orSuccessful completion of the County Social Casework Intern program; orA bachelor's degree with a social welfare major; orA bachelor's degree which includes or is supplemented by 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences and one year of professional social casework experience in a public or private social service agency; orAny equivalent combination of experience and training which includes 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences.Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within two months of graduating with a qualifying degree/credits.Other Requirements:is currently waived for this title.You must be able to perform essential job functions.Legal Requirements:
