R10009533 Counter Sales Associate/VMI Tech (Open)Location:Canton, OH - Retail shopHow will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?As a Counter Sales Associate you are the first thing our customers see as they walk into our branches you are the face of Airgas! You will sell medical, industrial and specialty gases, welding equipment and hard goods and tools to customers.The Vendor Management Inventory Technician delivers and services key vending account customers and customer cabinets/storerooms relative to inventory of gases, consumables and safety products. Additionally, this position does basic troubleshooting and mechanical repairs as needed. This position focuses on servicing existing accounts throughout an assigned territory.In particular, you will:Counter Sales Associate:Solicits sales from walk-in and telephone call-in customers assisting customers with identification of product needs and locating merchandise.Accurately completes and files all required paperwork on a timely basis. Documents sales, quotes or other information.Enters sales & quote data into the computer and researches information for customers using the computer system.Receives payment for merchandise or services sold and enters sale into the computer.Restocks store merchandise as needed. Arranges stock on shelves or racks in sales area and keeps merchandise in order. Marks or tickets merchandise.Maintains showroom cleanliness by procedures set forth by management.Delivery and replenishment to customers of various industrial products and vending machine or storeroom items.Maintains dedicated branch inventory levels for proper replenishment.Tracks and turns in delivery tickets and consignment fill tickets.VMI Tech:Delivery and replenishment to customers of various industrial products and vending machine or storeroom items.Performs basic troubleshooting and repairs mechanical vending systems as needed.Reviews manual stock levels of various inventories at multiple plant departments for reorder.Maintains dedicated branch inventory levels for proper replenishment.Regularly required to move up to 60 pounds and transport up to 125 pounds with the aid of material handling equipment.________Are you a MATCH?HS Diploma or equivalent required.Minimum of 2 years of customer service, sales, inventory, warehouse, or similar experience, preferably with industrial related products.Intermediate knowledge of Google and/or MS Office Applications.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines.Regularly required to move up to 60 pounds and transport up to 125 pounds with the aid of material handling equipment.
