　　The Cost SME shall provide input and recommendations for cost estimating and budget activities, inclusive of all program life cycle phases IAW applicable DoD Directives, Armyregulations, and policies.

　　Prepare Independent Government Estimates and Life-Cycle Cost/Design-to-CostCreate Program Office Estimates, Cost Analysis Requirements Description, Estimates at Completion, Analysis of variance reports, Business Case AnalysisConduct Independent Cost Analyses, Analysis of Alternatives, Cost research projects to develop estimating techniques for new state-of-the-art technology, Operations research analysis in support of cost effectiveness related studies, such as Milestone Reviews, OandS Cost Reduction Analysis, Cost Risk Evaluation, Technical Risk Evaluation, Warranty Cost Effectiveness Analysis, Budget Preparation SupportConduct Cost estimating activities in support of the following representative areas:Cost/acquisition teamsDesign-to-Cost reviewsSource Selection Evaluation BoardsArmy acquisition process, to include Operating and Support (OandS) and Life Cycle Cost/Total Ownership cost activities```{=html}

　　```- Understanding of Cost Estimating Relationship Methodologies, Earned Value Management

　　The Cost SME shall perform risk analysis and develop program risk assessmentconsistent with price, Contractor capabilities, emerging technologies, Contractor costperformance, schedules and integration requirements, and incorporate Contractor costperformance information into cost estimating methodologies consistent with latest reports.

　　The Cost SME shall be proficient in utilizing the Automated Cost Estimating IntegratedTool (ACEIT).

　　Required Experience/Education:

　　A Subject Matter Expert is a highly skilled individual who has an acknowledged specialized expertise in the specific functional tasks required for performance. Such individual should possess unique capability or experience.

　　BS/MS/PhD 15 Years

　　Security Clearance Requirement: Secret

　　Preferred Experience:

　　Automated Cost Estimating Integrated Tool (ACEIT)This position may be eligible for work from home flexibility subject to customer requirements.
