The individual in this role will work closely with the manufacturing sites & distribution centers on matters related to physical inventories, variances to standards, issue identification and Internal Controls. Ideal candidate will have a proven track record of supporting business partners, strong financial and systems acumen with a focus on efficiency, and exemplary communication skills.Key Accountabilities:Lead Cost Accounting team on a day-to-day basisSupervise and support daily operations of the team members to ensure proper application of cost accounting principles and other process activitiesMonitor the financial integrity of manufacturing processes including Production Order Variance, Purchase Price Variance & Cycle Counts analysisPerform the month end close process for the Cost Accounting team related entriesParticipate in the biennial global cost roll process and ensure its accuracy and completenessCoordinate and conduct in the physical inventory auditsMaintain tight compliance controls: ensure compliance with the requirements of the Corporate Finance Policies (SOX, external audit etc.) related to inventoryTrain the Cost Accounting team on cost roll and SAP transactional analyticsHelp motivate others in the team to achieve targets and performance standardsBasic QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience in Cost AccountingLegal authorization to work in the US is required.
