Job Summary:
Do you know how to generate and review clear financial data and are you enthusiastic about joining a globally active company like Flowserve? Then this might be the job for you! We are looking for an experienced Cost Accountant / Employee Financial Control who will report to the Lead Cost Accounting. In this role you will support a regional finance team in the Netherlands and Belgium with a base in Etten-Leur and working in a team of 6 colleagues.
Responsibilities & Requirements:
As a Cost Accountant you will execute the monthly closing and reporting procedures for the assigned reporting units to the Head office in Dallas
You are the intermediary for the business with the banks for the Letters of credit – cash against documents transactions - You will perform product and cost analyses for the business processes
Perform margin reporting and analysis and assist the finance business partners in creating forecasts
Work closely with colleagues in Operations to continuously optimize business processes - Any other duties reasonably assigned Preferred Experience / Skills: - A relevant qualification in a related field with 1-5 years relevant experience
Strong accounting knowledge
Knowledge of US GAAP preferred - Strong communication and relationship building sills
The ability to take initiative
Systems knowledge: Oracle, BPC, SAP will be beneficial
