Militaryservice members and veterans are encouraged to apply. Job Duties:Oversee Quality Control programs at all County Prestress manufacturinglocations. Regular travel required to the manufacturing locations.Verifies location quality control procedures, documentation and reportsconform to approved County processes. Creation and maintenance of mixdesigns. Oversee accelerated curing practices. Manages the LocationQuality Control Manager\'s oversight of processes for quality controlinspections, checks, and tests during the manufacture of products.Directs and manages the developmental plan for of quality controlmanagers, supervisors and technicians. Mentor to Location QualityControl Managers. Establishes and maintains procedures for inspectingmaterials, parts and products at different stages of production. Recordsobservations and makes recommendations for improving processes. Ensuresquality standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the concreteindustry are being met. Regularly observes the production processincluding setup, casting, stripping and storage of product and recommendimprovements. Work with production to identify and resolve qualityissues related to casting and concrete performance improvements.Coordinates regularly with Operations Managers at each location toensure quality goals are being met. Prepares reports for trackingquality issues for executive management staff to review. Maintainscommunication with Engineering to identify potential improvements. Staysup to date on PCI requirements and coordinates activities surroundingmaintenance of PCI certifications. Sets workplace housekeeping standardsfor locations.
