Chemours is seeking a C orporate Communications Consultant to join our growing Corporate Communications team . This position will report directly to the Sr. Manager, Media Relations and Brand Reputation at our Wilmington Office Building, Wilmington, DE.
The Corporate Communications Consultant will play a pivotal role in realizing the company’s reputation and strategic advocacy goals through development and management of the company’s social media and brand content and collateral strategies. The role covers a broad range of strategic and tactical deliverables supporting the enterprise and its business units.
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Develop and implement corporate social media strategy including daily management of the company’s main social channels
Manage content plan for other Chemours branded digital channels such as corporate website
Consult and collaborate on social channel strategies for product brand, regional or other social channel, external and internal communications and marketing campaigns, and other initiatives
Develop timely, engaging social media, digital, and brand content that enhances brand value and reputational positioning
Leverage digital media expertise to position social media as a critical communications tool with internal stakeholders; Advise and assist with content development for key stakeholders, including senior executives, that can be seamlessly integrated into their communications activity
Lead and grow a robust employee social advocacy program that helps advance business objectives
Track and report on the effectiveness of social media and digital brand channels against Key Performance Indicators
Follow trends and innovations in social media and corporate communications best practices
Support development and delivery of key brand collateral (e.g. annual report, sustainability report, etc.)
Manage vendor relationships that support delivery of social media content and brand collateral according to plan and budget
The following is required for this role:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, advertising, or related field
2-4 years professional experience in relevant social media, digital marketing, or corporate communications roles
Experience with running successful and measurable social/digital campaigns
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong project management and organizational skills
The following is preferred for this role:
Advanced social media and social media marketing understanding: channels, social listening, campaigns/paid social, community management, and governance workflows
Aptitude in social media management systems (e.g. Sprinklr, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Spredfast) a plus
Cross-functional understanding of integrated brand communications – social media, digital, and PR
The ability to think strategically, seamlessly execute tactics, effectively sell ideas and distill complex concepts into engaging messages
Collaborative, resourceful, meticulous, and able to manage projects across multiple programs, deadlines and stakeholder groups
