That same level of thoughtful consideration in designing spaces with the most optimal air, light and views runs through the team of creatives inside our Studio. And we’re looking for more! A Copywriter partners with other Marvin Creative Studio team members to dream up never-been-done-before ideas to help inspire and connect with homeowners, architects, builders, colleagues, and others. More specifically, the ideal candidate has experience working on various forms of long- and short-form writing, along with a deep understanding of why a story captures attention and how it is best adapted across paid, earned, shared, and owned media channels. Highlights of your role
• Collaborate with other members of the Marvin Creative Studio to create jaw-dropping work that speaks to both the head and the heart. • Get to know all facets of the Marvin business—from brand storytelling to product launches, employee communications, and beyond. • Dig into a wide range of creative assignments, including brand campaign elements (think scripts, print ads, display, etc.) blog posts, case studies, website copy, email, technical details, and other long- and short-form content as needed. • Maintain a consistent voice for the brand while writing copy that feels fresh, new, and relevant to Marvin’s target audiences and reflects brand positioning and strategy. • Interview and consult with subject-matter experts to understand Marvin products and services and create a clear and engaging story. • Work closely with the Marvin digital team to translate success metrics into actionable creative opportunities, like integrating SEO keywords and best practices to optimize Marvin’s findability
You’re a good fit if you have (or if you can)
• A skill set that stretches concepting, writing, and modulating an idea and brand voice across multiple touchpoints within a given project. • Experience and understanding developing integrated brand campaigns as well as long form and/or thought-leadership pieces like blog posts or case studies. • An innate curiosity to learn, create, and understand industry trends, storytelling methods, and emerging engagement platforms. • The ability to leverage feedback quickly to further develop and refine concepts. • A broad portfolio showcasing your versatility of voice and tone as well as types of work. • A bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., journalism, English, creative writing, or advertising) is required as well as 3+ years of experience working within a creative agency environment. • Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite and other digital tools.
