　　Summary:

　　Working closely with the Program Manager, the Coordinator is directly responsible for the development and implementation of evidence-based injury prevention programs. These programs are regionally based at the various trauma centers within the NOTS system. Provides the overall direction of unintentional injury prevention activities within the Northern Ohio Trauma System. Crucial elements of this position include the ability to work collaboratively with multiple, varied key stakeholders, identifying evidence-based violence/injury prevention models, budget management, and the ability to apply for additional grant funding. 　　Qualifications:

　　Required:Possesses one of the following credentials: - Currently licensed in Ohio as an Independent Social Worker (LISW) or Social Worker (LSW). - Master’s degree in public health, public administration, social work, nursing, or closely related field. -Experience in program development, which includes planning, needs assessment, and program evaluation. Direct work experience with coalition building and collaboration with multidisciplinary partners. Excellent presentation skills, both oral and written. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage numerous projects simultaneously with other competing priorities and timeframes. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations. Demonstrated ability to work with academic and medical communities. Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment in politically sensitive situations. Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and empower. Knowledge of the epidemiology of injury, including health burden, risk factors, and disparities. Knowledge of injury prevention strategies. Knowledge of evidence-based interventions. Knowledge of a wide range of local, state, and national resources, as well as professional associations. Reliable transportation to travel to partner sites, community agencies, etc. Ability to work flexible hours.

　　Physical Demands:May need to move around intermittently during the day, including sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and walking. May need to remain still for extended periods, including sitting and standing. Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications. Ability to read job related documents. Ability to use computer.
