Description:
We are seeking skilled cooks to join Mercy Community Health on a per diem basis at TSLC - Saint Mary Home. Your role will involve preparing high-quality meals, adhering to standardized recipes, and maintaining HACCP standards.
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of six months experience as a cook in healthcare, business, or campus settings.
Proficiency with various preparation and cooking equipment.
Ability to follow recipes, determine production numbers, and manage inventory needs.
Responsibilities:
Demonstrate and integrate the mission of Mercy Community Health.
Assist the Head Chef in planning and creating menu items.
Strictly adhere to HACCP standards.
Ensure proper inventory control, labeling, and discarding when necessary.
Maintain kitchen equipment and train kitchen staff.
Document food usage, temperatures, and formulate "Action Plans" for deviations.
