[Controls Engineering firm is currently seeking Control Engineering Professionals to become a part of our team supporting the hardware and control software design for the automation of industrial manufacturing lines with knowledge in the Pulp and Paper industry. The qualified individual will work from home, generating the necessary engineering software and documentation, and traveling to the job site as needed for meetings and final equipment commissioning. Projects are team-based. Relocation for this job is not required.Candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or an Associate Degree in Electrical / Electronics Technologies with a minimum of 3 years of proven industrial controls design experience. Skills required, experience with Auto Cad, Microsoft Word, and Excel, an aptitude for understanding machine physics and dynamics, and troubleshooting.Desired experience in- PLC: Rockwell Automation ControlLogix, SLC and PLC 5- Networks: Profibus, ControlNet, Ethernet IP, DeviceNet- AC Drives: ABB ACS800, ACS880, ACS600; Rockwell PowerFlex series.- DC Drives: ABB DCS800, DCS880, DCS600 and Rockwell based DC drives.- Motors: Coordinated industrial motor drive systems.- HMI: FactoryTalk View, Panelview.
