Description

We are looking for a Controller to join our client's organization in Clearwater, Florida. This role involves overseeing all accounting operations, strategic planning, compliance, and auditing, as well as leading a team of accounting professionals.

Responsibilities include:

• Overseeing all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Revenue Recognition

• Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and reporting variances

• Preparing and publishing timely monthly consolidated financial statements

• Providing leadership in the development of short and long-term strategic financial objectives

• Developing and managing financial strategies and initiatives to achieve company goals

• Ensuring quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting

• Managing and complying with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings

• Coordinating the preparation of regulatory reporting

• Managing and mentoring a team of accounting professionals

• Fostering a positive and collaborative team environment

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required

• Multi-location experience is required

• Proficiency in ERP Solutions is necessary

• Must have a comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions

• Must have a strong understanding of Budget Processes

• Experience preparing and analyzing Consolidated Financial Statements is required.
