The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual who will oversee the company's financial records and accounting personnel. You will be responsible for maintaining all procedures and controls related to the company's financial accounts. JOB DUTIES
Take charge of all accounting processes and procedures, from general and cost accounts to payroll and accruals.
Drive monthly closing activities for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy in financial statements and management reporting.
Provide transaction support for due diligence, integration planning, and post-close activities.
Directly manage and develop a team of three staff, ensuring collaboration and excellence in their respective roles.
Elevate the existing system of accounting policies, internal controls, and safeguards, championing a robust internal control environment.
Oversee external and internal audits, ensuring compliance and efficiency in accounting and administrative controls.
Lead the preparation of monthly/quarterly financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Demonstrate expertise in accounting, team leadership, and workload management.
Commitment to building and retaining a diverse team.
Deep understanding of internal controls, GAAP accounting, and innovative financial reporting.
Proven track record in strategic planning, project management, and transactions.
Customer/investor-focused mindset with a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
Detail-oriented with a critical-thinking mindset for process improvement.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and various accounting software packages.
Experience with MS Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations is a plus.
Operate with integrity and maintain confidentiality.
Requirements
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/CERTIFICATIONS
10+ years of relevant accounting experience, including 5+ years in a managerial role.
Bachelor’s degree, Master's preferred
CPA REQUIRED
Public accounting experience preferred
Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting.
