Compensation Overview

The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

Salary Range

$104,200.00 - $171,800.00

What Is the Opportunity?

As a Contract Manager, you will review, draft, and negotiate a variety of supplier contracts for technology and services under appropriate attorney supervision. In this role, you will work collaboratively with Corporate Procurement, the business, and other stakeholders as part of the vendor contracting process.

What Will You Do?

Review, draft and negotiate supplier contracts, including confidentiality agreements, evaluation agreements, hotel and events contracts, equipment lease/purchase and maintenance agreements, telecommunications agreements, website terms and conditions, services agreements, technology agreements, and related documents.

Determine appropriate contract templates, modify templates as necessary and develop supplementary contract language as needed for specific supplier transactions.

Collaborate with legal resources and Corporate Procurement to identify gaps between proposed contract terms and identified business requirements.

Throughout the contract lifecycle, advise on contract provisions or other contract related issues that may arise.

Accountable for triaging new deal requests within assigned area of responsibility, including but not limited to assessing risk and complexity, understanding business objectives, assisting in the development and execution of negotiation strategies, and ensuring that contract terms align with organizational goals and achieve desired outcomes.

Communicate with legal resources, Procurement and business partners on negotiation strategies and deal status.

Respond to inquiries regarding terms in existing contracts, and assist business partners in understanding contract provisions.

Initiate and participate in various projects and identify opportunities to support department and organization goals and requirements.

Manage workflows, documents, use various software applications.

Oversee lower complexity contract review and negotiation performed by external resources; suggest updates and modifications to playbooks and processes.

Perform other duties as assigned.

What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?

Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience.

Experience reviewing, drafting and negotiating supplier contracts, including confidentiality agreements, evaluation agreements, data licensing, technology-related contracts, statements of work and similar ordering documents, amendments and addenda.

Experience with technology products and services agreements, including data security terms, and software license and maintenance agreements, professional services agreements, telecommunications agreements and orders, software-as-a-service agreements, and equipment lease/purchase and maintenance agreements.

Experience negotiating general services agreements, including events and hotel, and training agreements.

Experience with self-service contracts and related workflow processes and platforms.

Strong written and verbal communication skills and analytical skills enabling timely and proactive identification and communication of contract-related issues and risks.

Comfortable with and committed to being part of a data informed legal team.

Strong planning, negotiating, organizing, and documenting skills.

Strong analytical skills with ability to analyze complex situations and solve problems to meet business objectives.

Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills with a focus on client service enabling interaction with various stakeholders to identify issues and recommend solutions.

What is a Must Have?

Five years’ experience in reviewing/drafting contracts or comparable experience.What Is in It for You?
