The Continuous Improvement Engineer is responsible to support, implement, document, coach and coordinate operational improvement processes against existing Emerson business processes. This role will also be to review and follow-up defined Continuous Improvement Projects.
Will also participate in relevant CI events to ensure this role is aligned to our global standards and collaboration activities. Will train the CMMC associates in standards/tools as needed.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Innovation – promote Continuous Improvement in all aspects of our business guided by metrics (KPI’s) and disciplined management process by passionately pursuing technologies to drive tangible value for our customers and stakeholders. Internal CI Trainer to promote the CI mindset overall organization.
Design, develop, test, deploy – Support, implement and maintain daily routines by using approved standards. Alignment / Maturity needs for development of CI elements/tools (including Digitization). Support CMMC CI Workshops. Define /plan needed CI Trainings, penetration rate on CMMC level and capacity.
Efficient Operating Processes – work cross functionally to ensure that the processes we utilizing are efficient and effective. Work to support the process improvement activities prioritized by the functional leaders. Review CI Standards via Assessments. Process confirmation of existing standards.
Safety and Quality – support and enforce strict change control processes. Follow department security standards, data protection and record retention policies. Drives the importance of Safety mindset to all associates.Ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel in accordance with company health, safety and environment safety guidelines and procedures.
Travel – If and when required, travel to support projects or system implementation in other company locations.

Minimum of 3-5 years relevant work experience in Operational Processes, Continuous Improvement roles.
Bachelor's degree in Administrative, Engineering, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering
Project Management experience, strongly preffered
Knowledge of Continuous Improvements methods and tools.
Experience in driving individual CI projects and teamwork Projects.
Experience in working with Excel, Microsoft Office package, Outlook, Blueworks represents an advantage.
Fluent English language skills; verbal, reading and writing. Other European languages are an advantage.

Strong soft skills, problem-solving, project tracking and conceptual skills, Lean / Six Sigma qualification
Experience in conducting trainings.
