The Cardinal Health Pharma eCommerce team is looking for a passionate and collaborative designer to assist in leading the evolution of our design system for a massive digital transformation effort.
Responsibilities
Ensure consistent and cohesive user experiences across multiple digital products and platforms.Actively participate in strategic planning and roadmap prioritization to align design system efforts with business and product goalsCreate and build scalable and flexible designs, component libraries, pattern repositories and prototypes for future enhancements and expansions.Identify design process inefficiencies and implement strategies to improve.Design and deliver orientation, onboarding, how-to resources, tutorials, materials, and training for new users of the design system to accelerate adoption and proficiency.Conduct regular design audits, reviews, and support usability testing to identify areas for improvement and maintain design system integrity.Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years direct UX/UI experience preferred1+ years of experience working on design systemsExperience using Figma to create designs and build componentsStrong proficiency with front-end development technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS)Experience working with developers and annotating for hand offExperience creating and maintaining documentationCan provide a portfolio of work that demonstrates capabilities and direct responsibilities as well as understanding of design system best practices and standardSkills
Possesses a keen eye for aesthetics, conscientious attention to detail, and an understanding of the relationship between design decisions and their impact on a systems-levelApproaches problems holistically as a unified system and considers all perspectives.Demonstrates strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects at the same timeHas the ability to assesses project scope and provides accurate time estimate in order to consistently meets deadlines, anticipates issues and raises concerns earlyIs flexible and open to feedbackNice to have
Experience using Jira to track work and progress within assigned ticketsExperience working in an agile or iterative work settingKnowledge of AA accessibility guidelinesPrototyping or UX writing experienceExperience in tool transition to FigmaEducation
Bachelor or higher degree in digital design, graphic design, HCI, UX, computer information, or other relevant technological or design disciplines preferred.
Anticipated salary range: $78,500 - $112,100
