A Chattanooga based concrete company is seeking to add a concrete finisher to their team! This is an experienced position with an emphasis on experience with power trowels. This position has upcoming leadership and promotion opportunities!

Job Description/Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for concrete placement by cleaning, leveling, and setting up forms or molds.

Place and finish concrete according to project specifications, ensuring proper consistency and quality.

Use a variety of hand and power tools to finish concrete surfaces to the desired texture and appearance.

Apply finishing treatments such as sealants, curing compounds, or coatings to protect and enhance the finished product.

Conduct quality control checks to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.

Repair and patch concrete surfaces as needed to maintain structural integrity and appearance.

Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a concrete finisher or similar role in the construction industry.

Knowledgeable about floor flatness and levelness (FF/FL) requirements.

Ability to run both walk behind and riding trowel machines.

Strong knowledge of concrete finishing techniques, tools, and materials.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

Physical stamina and ability to perform strenuous tasks in various weather conditions.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Work Environement

Monday – Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm, OT available, OT paid after 8 hours instead of 40 hours.

Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather.
