Min Pay Rate: $58,485/annually
Max Pay Rate: $65,000/annually
THE ROLE
As a Concessions Manager at The Oncenter, you will provide professional Food & Beverage services and support in the planning, organization, and management of events within the facility, while interacting with clients, staff, and related personnel to assure all event needs are fulfilled.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Work with Management Team to plan and manage all operational aspects of Concessions Department.
Generate weekly food, beverage, and paper/plastic orders.
Ensure the accuracy of inventories for all concession stands throughout facility(ies).
Oversee and verify event day and weekly inventory.
Ensure customer service, customer satisfaction, and all money-handling procedures meet or exceed ASM Global/The Oncenter standards.
Recommend and maintain service standards and procedures.
Understand acceptable Concessions labor budgets.
Forecast and control labor costs as directed by the Director of Food & Beverage.
Oversee scheduling and supervision for Concessions staff while adhering to labor contract.
Complete daily/weekly ADP payroll entries and approvals according to schedule.
Oversee all aspects of uniforms for Concessions Staff.
Assist team with all aspects of hiring and onboarding including interviewing, orientation, and training.
Direct, develop, and coach departmental personnel to work to full potential while carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
Implement corrective action procedures with employees whose performance or conduct does not meet required levels in conjunction with Human Resources.
Inspect locations and observe workers and guests to ensure compliance with occupational, health, and safety standards and local liquor regulations.
Maintain close communications and work cooperatively with Banquet Managers, Event Managers, Human Resources, and all other staff.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Associates Degree and 1-2 years of management experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.
Experience in Culinary Management, Business Management, Concessions/Banquets Management, or other Food & Beverage Management desired.
Must be able to work irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
SKILLS YOU’LL NEED
Ability to communicate in a clear, professional, and courteous manner which fosters a positive, enthusiastic and cooperative work environment.
Solid working knowledge of computer applications: Microsoft Office, POS systems, timekeeping system.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
Exceptional hospitality and customer service skills, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette.
Ability to make professional, independent, and good judgment decisions within proper policy and procedures.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
ServeSafe & TIPS certification a plus.PHYSICAL ABILITIES
Must be able to walk/stand/sit for long periods of time.
Ability to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment.
Must have the physical ability to maneuver around the venue, at times walking and/or standing for 8-10 hours or greater, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50 lbs+, and frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, and squatting.
