Oregon Urology Institute has an opening for a Per Diem CT Tech. OregonUrology Institute is one of the largest, most advanced urologicalcenters in the Northwest. Oregon Urology Institute provides patientswith some of the region\'s finest medical experts covering every majorurological specialty using proven and leading-edge technologies such asrobotic surgery, immunotherapy, and radiation therapy. We are lookingfor a CT Technologist with excellent people skills to serve the patientsof OUI by performing diagnostic imaging exams including CT scans andX-rays, as directed by OUI providers. Requirements: Proficient knowledgeof anatomy and physiology to perform accurate diagnostic studies in CTand X-ray settings, including contrast-enhanced studies. Ability toeffectively and respectfully communicate with patients of various agesand abilities in order to complete imaging exams in an efficient manner.Familiarity with PACS/RIS systems (experience with IntelliSpace PACS andMedinformatix RIS is a plus). Prior experience with Siemens CT Platformpreferred (OUI utilizes a Siemens SOMATOM go.All scanner). Knowledge ofproper body mechanics regarding lifting, positioning of patients, andoperation of imaging equipment. Ability to maintain effective workingrelationships and clear communication with other technologists, staff,management, and providers. Education: Graduation from an ARRT accreditedschool of Radiologic Technology program, including additional educationin Computed Tomography. Experience:One year of experience in RadiologicTechnology and Computed Tomography is preferred. Proficiency invenipuncture preferred, or ability to learn. Lithotripsy experiencepreferred but not required. Certification /License:Current certificationby ARRT in both Radiologic Technology and Computed Tomography. Currentlicensure through OBMI in both Radiologic Technology and ComputedTomography. Current healthcare provider level Basic Life Supportcertification.
