Responsibilitiesprimarily involve modeling and drafting of new and derivative versionsof aircraft interior furnishings/payloads and wire harnesses as part ofoutfitting new aircraft using Catia V5 and AutoCad. Examples includecustom cabinetry such as galleys, lavatories, closets, storagecompartments, interior peripheries, water/waste systems, entertainmentequipment installations, and seating installations. The technicaldesigner will also be responsible for creating models and drawingsinstalling the aforementioned commodities into the aircraft. Designerswill create data consistent with industry accepted drafting practicesand company standards. Assignments are executed under the direction of asenior engineer, Lead engineer, or Group Head to meet the manufacturingschedule. Additional responsibilities are outlined in the jobdescription and as assigned by the Lead or Group Head. Candidate must beproficient in 3D modeling software, Catia v5 preferred. Experience withAutoCad and PLM/PDM software such as SmarTeam or Enovia is also a plus.Education and Experience Requirements Associate\'s Degree in drafting,design, engineering, or manufacturing technology required or equivalentcombination of education and experience sufficient to successfullyperform the essential functions of the job. 2 years related experience.Familiarity with computer-aided design systems and basic personalcomputing. Basic knowledge of engineering, engineering procedures anddesign drawing standards.
