This is a position providing competency development support for International Products China sales team and distributors/customers.
Job Responsibilit:
Plans, organizes and delivers training programs for sales representatives, distributors, commercial and industrial customers, national account customers on improving capability and promoting Chevron brand & products.
Work with functional teams to identify improvement opportunities over learning and development, collaborate with team members, other teams and 3rd party partners on improving internal and external capabilities.
Works with global/regional OC team and/or 3rd party vendors to implement Learning & Development plan and programs.
Provides counsel and assistance on training matters – anticipates future training needs of the sales organization, researches and recommends new training contents, revisions in existing contents and maintenance of training materials, aids/ facilities, equipment/ courses.
Tracks effectiveness of training programs:
Develop and maintain KPIs, tools and processes for measuring training effectiveness.
Performs field follow-up & coaching with trained sales representatives/distributors & personnel to ensure application of the trainings and taught processes on the job.
Provide regular feedback and recommendations to management on future improvement areas.
Coordinate training delivery logistics – work with 3rd party vendors and/or internal training resources to establish training offerings, dates, communication, venues, class size, participant lists, completions tracking, etc.
Any other tasks assigned by supervisor.
Job Requirements:
Strong training, teaching, communication and organizational skills.
Proficient in using computer office software. Good capability in developing training materials.
Good data analysis capability.
Good English skills are preferred.
A solid understanding of sales strategies, sales channels, sales skills and processes is also required.
