We have an opportunity for a Communication Specialist to join our Golden Valley, MN team. You will be in integral member of the Corporate Communications team, supporting internal and external communications strategies, social media, special events, and project management. You will serve as a key partner to internal cross-functional teams and external partner to drive the successfully delivery of sustaining communications projects. You will: Work with the Corporate Communications team, internal partners, and external agencies/vendors to execute projects while maintaining a set scope, timing, and budget. Write and edit communications for various internal and external channels to reach key audiences and deliver against defined communications strategies. Develop content for and assist in the management and authoring of enterprise social media channels, blogs, and internal/external websites. Assist in the execution and project management of internal and external events, including quarterly town halls, annual senior leadership meeting and other special corporate events. Support sports marketing initiatives, including in-stadium branding opportunities and ticket allocation strategy. Develop and maintain project management tools, calendars, and dashboards for communications team. Gather data and develop dashboards to report on the effectiveness of Pentair communications programs. Align strategic initiatives and project objectives to business goals. Key Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, public relations, or comparable field 5+ years of professional experience in corporate, agency, or public-sector communications role Excellent writing, editing, oral communications, communication planning, and project management skills. Expertise in web and email content management systems, including Adobe AEM and Staffbase Experience managing large events. Experience in leading cross-functional project teams without direct supervisory responsibilities Highly detail oriented, organized and organizationally agile. Experience working in a matrix organization structure. Ability to develop and maintain collaborative business relationships. Ability to interact with all levels of the organization. Ability to travel quarterly.
