　　Summary

　　Manages supplier RFQ process for specific Commodity groups (Connectors parts) across multiple projects to ensure all costing due dates are achieved.

　　Lead component level supplier negotiations to establish competitive cost solutions.

　　Drive supplier growth scorecard performance improvement.

　　Commodity expertise – depth knowledge of key commodity price drivers & sensitivities, performs general pricing & supply market trend analytics.

　　Detailed Description

　　Able to provide competitive cost estimate for complex parts (Bid only)

　　Provides insight and recommendations to support proposed solutions to key stakeholders.

　　Updates material prices database, analyzes components for competitiveness and customer compliance, review with management.

　　Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

　　Excellent analytical, negotiation and problem resolution skills to enable ongoing incremental results

　　Ability to proactively resolve issues & problems internally and externally

　　Relentless focus on continuous improvement

　　Delivers flawless execution with an effective management system

　　Significant skills required in multi-tasking and time management

　　Ability to effectively project manage, influence and motivate a diverse group of team members, potentially based in multiple countries

　　Physical Demands

　　Able to identify and justify alternate component solutions.

　　Typical Experience

　　3 – 6 years experience (aligned to position seniority) in purchasing, commodity or engineering environment

　　Ability to communicate effectively in Korean both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of internal and external customers

　　Typical Education

　　Bachelor’s degree in related field (Commerce or Engineering), or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.

　　Supply Chain Management designation would be an asset

　　Business or Engineering related degree, 3 – 10 years experience (aligned to position seniority) in purchasing, commodity or engineering environment
