  DescriptionJOB RESPONSIBILITIESCollaborate with Commercial Lending team to facilitate the request for preparation of loan documents from operationsGather and obtain required documentation for commercial loansPerform administrative due diligence in the commercial loan origination process (including lien searches, name verifications, etc.)Research and resolve loan issues promptly and professionally. This requires a detailed knowledge and adherence to commercial loan procedures and policiesEnsure loans are accurately tracked on bank systems by thoroughly understanding system codingCollaborate with third parties (title company, Insurance agency, etc.) to ensure requirements of loan closing are metPerform/Request maintenance for commercial loans when requestedManage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, utilizing organizational and time management skillsExercise increased independent judgment when completing above responsibilitiesCoordinate all loan closings with the assigned lender/s and be able to independently close loans for customers in lender's absenceAssist Loan Assistant Supervisor to provide training to and direct workflow of Commercial Loan Assistant I associatesMaintain awareness of and adherence to Bank's compliance requirements and risk management concepts, expectations, policies and procedures and apply them to daily tasksDeliver a consistent, high level of service within our Serving More standardsOther duties as assignedCOMPETENCIESInterpersonal/Customer Service SkillsWritten and Verbal CommunicationAbility to understand and follow directionsAdaptable to changeBasic Computer SkillsOrganizational Skills/Detail OrientedAble to Multi-Task or Juggle PrioritiesTechnical ExpertiseAbility to work as part of a teamSCHEDULETypical office hours are Monday-Friday 8a-5p. This position is hourly and full time. A minimum 37.5 hours is required to maintain eligibility for full-time status.A flexible work arrangement is available for this position. The position will require some scheduled onsite hours. Please speak to the hiring manager for more information.EDUCATION - CERTIFICATIONS - WORK EXPERIENCEHigh School diploma or equivalent required2-4 years related work experience preferred; knowledge of commercial loansPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSThis position must be able to remain in a stationary position a minimum of 75% of the time, constantly operate a computer, and be able to be in constant communication with customers and coworkers to discuss and observe account information in order to exchange accurate information.Park National Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
