Position Summary:s a Commercial Lending Group Intern, you will be an integral part of our CLG team, gaining exposure to the diverse facets of commercial lending. This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to real-world projects, develop a foundational understanding of commercial finance, and hone essential skills in a professional banking environment.Key Responsibilities:Assist in the management of our Real Estate Portfolio.Analyze various properties providing value, locations, and conditions in a report or memo.Perform site inspections.Review, analyze and report on financial statements, tax returns, and credit reports to assess financial health and creditworthiness of loan applicants.Assist in assessing the credit and investment risk associated with loan applicants and potential investment decisions.Assist in the preparation of loan and investment reports for internal team members to aide in credit and investment decisions.Contribute to the maintenance and efficacy of internal systems.Build relationships both internally and externally through community outreach and events.Qualifications:Pursuing a degree in business, finance, accounting, or another related field.Basic knowledge and understanding of banking and credit.Excellent written communication skills.Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.Strong interpersonal skills with an interest in relationship building. Highly motivated and resourceful.Strong organizational aptitude - i.e., ability to juggle multiple projects at once and force-rank importance.
