　　PLI is currently looking for experienced COMMERCIAL CARPENTERS. These positions are located in Central Kansas and offer a very competitive employment package.

　　Job Responsibilities:

　　Conduct yourself in a safe yet productive manner.

　　Read and interpret project plans.

　　Install both metal and wood framing for walls, doors, windows, etc.

　　Install doors and hardware, windows, cabinets, bathroom partitions and accessories; hang sheet rock.

　　Ability to self-perform basic interior finishes for small commercial remodels/build outs.

　　Basic metal building installation knowledge.

　　Provide own general carpentry hand tools (tape measure, square, plumb bob, hammer, tool bag).

　　Be willing to help teach your craft to other crew members.

　　Job Qualifications :

　　A minimum of one-year experience: reading plans; framing both metal and wood studs; installation of doors/hardware, windows, cabinets, bathroom partitions and accessories; hanging sheet rock.

　　M ust have a great attitude, be a self-starter and able to work on your own with occasional supervision.

　　Valid driver’s license required with transportation to and from work within one hour of shop.

　　Pass a background check, pre-employment and random drug/alcohol testing.

　　Able to communicate in English. Bi-lingual in Spanish a big plus.
