This position encompasses responsibilities that primarily include collections, as well as data analysis to support collections effectiveness.Why work at MCC:Competitive compensationGenerous benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance and 401(k)Paid Holidays: New Years, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, plus two floating HolidaysResponsibilities:Working knowledge of Evaluated Receipt Settlement customers and how best to collect from such customers.Collaborate with internal IT Team, provide feedback related to EDI invoice transmissions that require updates.Foster improved communications between internal departments regarding outstanding AR balances open on our largest portal or website-based customers.Improve reporting related to invoice status to pay from customers that utilize their own website or third-party portals.Contribute to internal meetings with supporting departments on methods to share portal data that results in improved collections related to root cause analysis.Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, business ecommerce preferred.Five or more years of experience in Accounts Receivable, manufacturing experience required.Proficient in using the Microsoft Office suite including advanced data manipulations with lookup functions and Pivot tables.Strong research and critical thinking skills.Strong organizational and time management skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-change environment required.Diligence and elevated level of accuracy.Self- Motivated, able to work independently within a team environment.Knowledge of Oracle, Great Plains and SAP ERP systemsERS ( Evaluated Receipt Settlement ) experience, understand customers paying by receiver, not invoice.Have experience with 3rd party billing portals, such as Ariba.Have experience with standalone customer portals.Understand EDI, electronic data interchange.Diversity & InclusionAt MCC, we believe what makes us unique, makes us better.
