The Hourly rate will be $20-25/hr + bonus based off experienceThe Collection Specialist role is responsible for providing world classcustomer care to our customers. This position will provide an exceptionallevel of customer service by taking ownership and responsibility for allactivity occurring at CHL and ensuring customers are educated regarding allhardship assistance options offered.Key Responsibilities:Responsible for negotiating payment arrangements, keeping our borrowers intheir homes and keeping loans from turning into 30+ days past-dueMaintaining an open line of communication with the borrower(s) afterpayment is received, allowing for early intervention and preempting futuredelinquenciesUtilize all available skip tracing tools to locate borrower whose currentcontact information is inaccurateManage inbound and outbound calling queues via automated calling systemContinuously improve knowledge base and skillset to ensure maximum level ofcustomer satisfaction and world class customer experiencePerform other job-duty related issues as assignedQualifications:High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experienceMinimum 2 years of experience in mortgage servicingMinimum 2 years of experience in a Collections environmentBi-lingual skills a plusStrong phone etiquette while having a passion for taking care of customerneeds with exceptional customer service skillsSolid analytical skills with the ability to exercise prudent judgmentExceptional organization and time management a mustComfortable being a team playerStrong interpersonal skills in addition to verbal/written communicationAbility to work through stressful situations professionally and respectfullyAttention to detailWho we are...Cornerstone Capital Bank is the product of a recent merger between CornerstoneHome Lending and Roscoe State Bank.
