Perform field commissioning procedures for electrical systems, includingmoderately complex systems. Have some experience with mechanicalsystems. Inspect, test, and document results. May be mentally demanding,requiring concentration on several projects at once. Position requireslimited supervision.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform all aspects of commissioning of electrical powerdistribution systemsDevelop and participate in Owners Project Requirements (OPR) process document creationPerform commissioning design reviews and comment onReview submittal documentsPrepare pre-functional and functional forms, review forms aftercompletionParticipate in design/construction/commissioning/progress/issuesmeetings as requiredDevelop commissioning requirements/plans including commissioningproject specificationsTrack report issues including problem solvingDevelop, coordinate, participate in training programsDevelop and participate in Integrated Systems Tests (IST)Develop and/or review Systems ManualsAssist and/or develop preventative maintenance plansAssist with writing and assembly of commissioning reportsProvide comprehensive project managementRepresent the Company as a lecturer on technical topicsPlay an important role in each commissioning projectPerform as lead on small or moderately sized commissioning projectsBe responsible for commissioning communications and updatesEnsure project schedules are being metTake an active role in business development and expansion.Maintain strong client relationshipsPerform all functions pertaining to a written job proposal to aclient, including estimate of man-hours and expenses, anddevelopment of scope and pricing.Competencies

Education Certifications: Please note minimum and preferredrequirements fo education. This includes degree, specializations, andcertifications.
Graduate Engineer BSEE or BSME or and one year minimum same orsimilar work experience. At least (1) commissioning projectincluding Design, Construction, and Post-Occupancy phase processes;ORGraduate of applicable Commissioning Technical Training and twoyears minimum same or similar work experience. At least (5)commissioning projects including Design, Construction, andPost-Occupancy phase processes; ORHigh school education or equivalent and five years minimum same orsimilar work experience. At least (8) commissioning projectsincluding Design, Construction, and Post-Occupancy phase processes.Requirements: Please list all experience required to perform thisjob. You may note some requirements as preferred.
Knowledge of ASHRAE commissioning industry standards. Commissioningcertification, such as from the Building Commissioning Association,University of Wisconsin or similar is preferred but not necessary.
