Apply today!Your Challenge:Set-up and operate NC VTL machines for pre-machining and finish machining for required operations or the repair of aircraft parts.Work from process traveler, blueprints, parts drawings, manuals, specifications, operations sheets and verbal directions to determine proper dimensions and tolerances of finished part, sequence of operations, and set-up requirements for machining functionsVerify dimensions using standard measuring instruments, such as micrometers, depth gage, height gage, and vernierWork with engineering department regarding material conditions, best positioning of part, tool pressure, etc. as requiredEducation Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent requiredThis position is a safety sensitive position.
