Description:
• Studies drawings and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of the finished work piece.
• Follows a job router to determine the sequence of operations and set-up requirements.
• Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials on machines, such as mills, lathes or others.
• Calculates and programs controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow and depth and angle of cut or enters commands to retrieve, edit or input existing programs.
• Analyze and resolve any set-up non-conformance.
• Show a willingness to work through their attendance, maintain an overall positive attitude.
• Adhere to company’s policies and procedures.
• Look for improvements regarding all aspects of Manufacturing.

Our CNC Machinists specialize in setting up and operating CNC or NC machines and machining centers. Set up and operate conventional, special-purpose, numerical control (NC) machines and machining centers to fabricate metallic and non-metallic parts. He or she applies knowledge of machine shop theory and procedures, shop mathematics, and quality assurance.
