Summary Responsible for producing machined parts by setting up and operating Swiss Lathe and machining centers to fabricate parts and components while maintaining quality and safety standards. Primary Responsibilities * Set up, adjust, and operate CNC Swiss Lathe Machines * Monitor and inspect parts for conformance to drawings and quality standards * Interpret blueprints, drawings, and engineering information to produce parts * Maintain a clean working environment in the machine shop area * Attend department and company meetings * Comply with company's business and human resources policies; work rules; safety, OSHA and MIOSHA requirements; quality standards; standard operating procedures; requirements and applicable local, State, and Federal regulations * Perform other related duties as needed and assigned Skills and Qualifications * Ability to communicate professionally and work well with others * Specialized technical, trade, or business school in this or a related area of study (knowledge normally acquired through a journeyman / associates / or other 2-year program) * 3 years of related experience Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled
