Responsibilities Responsibilities include but are notlimited to: Uses CNC lathes, CNC milling machines, radial drills,vertical turret lathes, a variety of adjustable precision measuringinstruments, and various other tools common to the machining trade.Works from drawings, specifications, set-ups sheets and verbalinstructions. Performs routine set-ups on machine tools and makeproduction runs on CNC lathes, radial drills and other productionequipment to produce parts for use in the assembly of a variety ofproducts. Holds close tolerances. Makes periodic checks to assureconformance to specifications. Refers problems to set-up person orsupervisor. Reports machine malfunctions, defective materials, or otherunusual conditions. Moves average weight material (over 25 lbs. and upto 60 lbs.) as necessary in the performance of job. Maintains productionrecords. Maintains work area in a neat, clean and orderly condition andobserves all safety regulations and practices. qualifications required:High school diploma or equivalent At least one year of manufacturingexperience as a CNC Machine Operator Requires the use of drawings,specifications, set-up sheets and adjustable measuring instruments;requiring basic skills knowledge. Ability to navigate multiple windowsin company Enterprise Resource Program (ERP) system to access productionand technical resource data. Ability to frequently lift or move materialweighing over 25 lbs. and up to 60 lbs. Aptitude to follow verbal andwritten instructions. Ability to read and follow written procedures anduse of drawings and specifications where some interpretation isrequired. Knowledge of basic math, including decimals and fractions.Experience using variety of power tools and material handling equipment.Work Environment The CNC Machine Operator will work primarily in aproduction setting where safety equipment or personal protective gear isrequired. Frequent exposure in production plant where large equipmentand noise are prevalent.
