In the Customer Success team, we are looking for people with a passion for delivering customer success working with Microsoft’s partners. As a Cloud Solution Architecture Director – Strategic Partner, you will lead managers and teams of individuals who enable our partners to achieve their customers'' outcomes, based on their investments in Microsoft technology. Leveraging your leadership and technical expertise, you will drive and empower mangers and teams to lead technical discussions with partners to drive value from these investments, including identifying resolutions to partner issues blocking customer success projects and accelerating consumption.

Responsibilities
Partner Satisfaction – This role will lead GSI teams to deliver positive Partner Satisfaction, and become trusted advisors to partners and their customers, by leveraging technical expertise and ecosystem knowledge to enable defined outcomes aligned to defined partner business strategy.
Strategic Thought Leadership & Partner Insights - Understand partners’ business priorities, industry, and segment focus. Oversee execution plans and approach that are aligned to partner business goals and priorities, driving clarity and joint accountability. Coach team to provide feedback & insights from customers/partners to relevant MS teams to enable continuous improvement.
Manage the consumption business to achieve business goals and deliver value: Coach teams to accelerate opportunities to drive customer and partner business results by working with technical decision makers to ensure understanding of Microsoft''s value proposition and realize value from their investment through deep business understanding of solution plays and customer scenarios.
Accelerate Resolution of Technical Blockers and Partner Outcomes: Coach teams to identify resolutions to issues blocking go-live of partner-led customer success projects by leveraging technical subject matter expertise. Support them to lead technical conversations with partners to drive value from their Microsoft investments to service their customers, by delivering all work according to best practices & policies and using repeatable IP.

Required/Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field AND 8+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting
OR equivalent experience.
3+ years of people management experience, including managing consultant practice managers, technical sales managers, and/or technical architect managers
3+ years working in/with technology industry SI Partner ecosystem, knowledge of Partner delivery models for both project and advisory work
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 12+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting.
OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 8+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting
OR equivalent experience.
System Integrator (SI) Partner Experience: 5+ years working in/with technology industry SI Partner ecosystem, knowledge of Partner delivery models for both project and advisory work
6+ years experience working in a customer-facing role (e.g., internal and/or external).
6+ years experience leading technical projects, teams, or functions.
Technical Certifications in Cloud (e.g., Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, security certifications).
5+ years people management experience, including managing consultant practice managers, technical sales managers, and/or technical architect managers
Cloud Solution Architecture M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $124,800 - $242,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $159,000 - $264,000 per year.
