Job Description

Memorial Sloan Kettering’s Magnet®-recognized Department of Nursing is made up of almost 5,000 highly skilled nursing personnel, including more than 600 nurse practitioners, 40 clinical nurse specialists, and 32 nurse educators. Hours: Full-time- 10 hour days flexed Monday - FridayWe are currently hiring for two positions You Are:

You Will:

Work within Nurse-Physician based Ambulatory Care Practice Model

Facilitate the accrual of appropriate patients to clinical trials.

Coordinate patient care activities and conduct studies for patients enrolled in clinical trials.

Educate patients and their families regarding clinical trials in general and the specifics of the proposed clinical trial.

Provide as an integral member of the clinical research team to research study participants' direct nursing care, patient and study assessments, education, and patient/ family support.

Collaborate with the principal investigator to review new protocols from a nursing perspective and participate in a multidisciplinary discussion for approval.

Act as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide continuity of care to patients throughout various stages of treatment on protocol and follow-up.

You Need:

New York State RN license and BSN

Three years clinical Nursing experience

Oncology nursing experience preferred

Clinical research nursing experience preferred, but not vital

Proficiency with clinical and office software (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel)

BCLS
