　　Job Summary and Qualifications

　　The Therapist Educator is responsible for enhancing professional practice and the provision of quality patient care by providing evidence-based, quality educational programs and activities that promote professional competency for clinical and expressive therapists, interprofessional, and other unlicensed and licensed clinical staff at assigned facility. The Therapist Educator will have a complete understanding of therapist Competency Based Skills Orientation (CBSO) and will oversee competency facilitation for therapy and other staff. The Therapist Educator will align professional development efforts with Directors, Clinical Team Leads, and PRN Clinical Supervisors facilitating clinical supervision for licensure (e.g. LCSW, LPC, etc.). The Therapist Educator will lead and/or support market and facility-wide education initiatives including, but not limited to Orientation, Precepting, Annual Skills Fair, Clinical Therapist Education Playbook, New Hire Luncheons, etc.

　　What you will do in this role:

　　Provides orientation/onboarding programs to promote employee retention

　　Conducts orientation in a manner that facilitates a positive learning environment

　　Collaborates with the Clinical Educator the logistics of orientation to keep all stakeholders informed

　　Promotes cost effectiveness through implementation of efficient orientation/onboarding practices

　　Collaborates with the Director Clinical Professional Development and facility leadership to adjust the program based on evaluation results

　　What qualifications you will need:

　　Master's degree in Social Work (Required)

　　Minimum of 5 years’ experience in behavioral health setting preferred

　　Minimum of 3 years’ experience in clinical education preferred

　　Licensed Clinical Social Work (Required)

　　Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (Required)

　　BLS (Required )
