Clinical Assistant Professor, Family Therapy/Clinical Psychology

　　Description

　　The University of Houston-Clear Lake (UHCL) invites applications for a full-time faculty position beginning Fall 2024 in the applied psychology programs (Family Therapy or Clinical Psychology). The selected candidate will be a faculty member of either the Family Therapy or Clinical Psychology master's program, which are both housed in the Clinical, Health, and Applied Sciences department within the College of Human Sciences and Humanities. Appointment will be at the Clinical Assistant Professor level.

　　Duties:

　　Responsibilities include teaching the equivalent of four classes per semester (fall and spring) and supervision and advising master's students. The candidate will teach courses that are shared across several programs, and these classes include basic psychotherapy skills, group psychotherapy, development, psychopathology, substance abuse, multicultural counseling, and ethics.

　　Performs other related duties as assigned.

　　Qualifications

　　Required:

　　Doctoral Degree in family therapy or clinical psychology from APA-accredited program, along with psychology licensure or license-eligibility.Preferred :
