TheDepartment of Developmental Services(DDS), Southeastern Residential Services,is seeking a Clerk IV who will provide administrative support toa large number ofprofessional staff and is committed to upholding the department’s fundamental mission of protectingand advocating foradults with intellectual disabilities. The Clerk IV will quickly and accurately process data from a variety of sources, greetand direct clients and visitorsamonga variety of otheradministrative duties. Duties and Responsibilities (these duties are a general summary and not all inclusive): * Utilize Microsoft Office Applications - Word and Excel - with accuracy. * Perform accurate typing, word processing and data entry. * Maintain case archive process for the office:filing, records management, archive submissions, archive requests, etc. * Receives and distributes incoming mail, memoranda, packages, etc., to appropriate individuals within the assigneddepartment. * Operates standard office machines and equipment requiring brief orientation for use such as photocopiers, and other copying machines, telephone systems, postage meter, calculators, adding machines, etc. * Track the data drive information used in case assignments and personnel management. * Serve as a receptionist. Greet clients and visitors; answer telephone calls; refer clients and visitors to appropriate department staff when needed. * Provide administrative /clerical support and projects as assigned. * Provide routine information concerning agency office locations,programsand services. * Assistwith processing mail andfaxas necessary. * Maintain filing system. * Assist in the support ofExecutiveDirectoras needed.
