About Clerical Assistant 2 (Seasonal) - Little Pine State Park

  DESCRIPTION OF WORK

  This position is responsible to the Park Manager and Administrative Assistant for the operation of the park office and contact station at Little Pine State Park. These are the central points of the park where all park users receive information and instructions. An employee in this class performs clerical work of moderate complexity which requires the use of typing skills and the processing of a variety of documents which include the verification of information, performing arithmetic calculations, coding and assisting the public. Work may also involve providing training and guidance to new employees and fulfilling a lead worker role for routine clerical operations. Work may also involve providing secretarial services to the park manager. The person in this position is a primary public contact employee headquartered at Little Pine State Park.

  Full-time, Seasonal employment without benefits.Work hours are 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, with a 30-minute lunch.Weekends, holidays, and all shifts as needed; 37.5 hours/week - 7-day operation.*Salary: *In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.You will receive further communication regarding this position via email.   QUALIFICATIONS*Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:*

  Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (commonwealth title); *or*Graduation from high school; *or*An equivalent combination of experience and training. *Other Requirements:*
