Responsibilities: Perform various field and laboratory testsWork independently on specific assignments of limited scope and withengineers and on larger projects as a team member Prepare proposals forgeotechnical and material testing projects Manage basic geotechnical andmaterial testing projects Maintain client communications and buildclient relations Develops solutions, makes recommendations, and preparesengineering reports for review Observe construction in progress andreports to project engineer Gain experience relevant to work towardobtaining Professional Engineer license Required Skills: Valid driver\'slicense and clean driving record Perform field related services at least50% of time Good written and verbal communication skills Must be able tolift 50 lbs. on a regular basis and up to 75 lbs. periodically Travel upto 25% of time Required Experience: Prior professional consultinginternship or co-op experience desired Geotechnical internship or co-opexperience preferred Proficiency in field-testing & report writingexperience preferred Bachelor\'s degree in civil engineering withgeotechnical, materials emphasis, or related Possess EIT certificationor ability to obtain within 6 months Braun Intertec is a drug-freeworkplace and require all new hires to complete a pre-employment drugscreen test, criminal background check, and motor vehicle report.
